The 10 Most Useless Words Ever

“I support LJ. He’s doing an amazing job for his community.” – Michael Jordan’s statement through a spokesperson.

Absolutely useless.

I get Donald Trump stopped being held accountable for his behavior a long time but Michael Jordan still will be.

We’ve heard for years he’s not particularly close with LeBron. Thats fine. We’ve heard the famous, “Republicans buy sneakers” line as well, for years.

Michael Jordan, widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time wants to play the “on both sides” fence. This isn’t 1988 when he uttered the famous sneaker line. Its not 1992 when Los Angeles burned and the most prominent black athletes in the country fell silent. It’s not that he’s never said a word about increasing violence in the city he captivated for over a decade.

This is where Jordan will never compare to LeBron. Jordan, on the court, is fearless. LeBron, off the court, is fearless. LeBron, from going to Miami, to Cleveland, to Los Angeles, to wearing a hoodie in support of Trayvon Martin, and speaking out against Donald Trump – LeBron James is an athlete that only be compared to Muhammad Ali. Much like Ali, LeBron’s impact will be felt long after he’s stepped off the court.
