49ers’ Officials Meet With Reuben Foster Following His Arrest

On Sunday night, San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster was arrested on charges of domestic violence and possession of an assault weapon. It was the 2nd time Foster has been arrested in the past month.

According to Pro Football Talk, Foster met with 49ers officials on Monday and no immediate solution is expected. Along with potential discipline from the team, Foster is subject to penalties from the NFL itself for both incidents.

The San Francisco 49ers issued the following statement on Sunday night, “The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Reuben Foster and we are currently gathering all relevant facts”.

Foster finished his rookie season with 72 total tackles in 2017.
