After announcing his retirement via Instagram last Monday, TMZ Sports caught up with recently retired Sacramento native, and 14- year-NBA veteran, Matt Barnes to ask what his post-retirement plans would be.

In the Instagram post, Barnes used the hashtag “#BillionaireBy50,” which has got many wondering how he plans to accomplish such a feat. The 37-year listed that he has a few “business ventures” and a production company that is doing well, giving himself the next 13 years to reach the milestone.

Barnes, who has never been one to be short on confidence, would go on to say his goal is “definitely attainable.” Barnes made just over $29 million in his playing career, which leaves him $980 million to go.
