The San Francisco 49ers were leading 30-23 with 1:55 left in the game and played just well enough to defeat the Green Bay Packers but then Aaron Rodgers took over as he’s done so many times before.
After a three play drive that resulted in -12 yards, the 49ers punted the ball back to Rodgers and the Packers offense with 2:39 remaining in the game and the ball at the Green Bay 42 yard-line. It took just one play for the Packers to get in the redzone after Rodgers find Davante Adams on a 38 yard pass to get the ball to the San Francisco 20. Two plays later, Rodgers tied the game connecting with Adams on a 16-yard touchdown pass that was perfectly placed by the former MVP.

The 49ers got the ball back and after a 32-yard return from Richie James plus an extra 15 yards from an unnecessary roughness, the 49ers were set up at their own 47 yard-line but the drive lasted just three plays. After a 7-yard pass from CJ Beathard to George Kittle and an incomplete pass intended for Pierre Garcon, the 49ers had a 3rd-and-3 with 1:13 left in the game. The Packers sent six rushers towards Beathard who threw the ball down to the 15 yard-line to be intercepted by Kevin King. From there, it was the Aaron Rodgers show.
With the help of a illegal contact penalty from Richard Sherman on a 3rd-and-15 from the Green Bay 19 yard-line, it took Rodgers nine plays to drive the Packers offense 81 yards to set Mason Crosby up for a game-winning 27-yard field goal, giving the Packers a 33-30 win.
