The Oakland Athletics have signed Khris Davis to a one-year contract.

The team tweeted on Wednesday afternoon to deliver the news. They also noted his home run record, only falling short of Giancarlo Stanton’s record.

The two parties have avoided arbitration and came to a reported salary of $10.5 million.
