Thanksgiving has passed and the NFL season is getting down to the final few weeks. Plenty of teams are still in the playoff race but teams chances are also slimming with each loss.

Here’s the best and worst for Week 12:

Best: Lamar Miller and the Houston Texans

In the Houston Texans 34-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans, Miller broke loose for a 97-yard touchdown run to give Houston a 21-10 win.

The run alone was more yards than six of his previous nine games. Miller finished with 163 yards on 12 carries. The Texans have been playing their best ball all season, winning eight in a row after starting 0-3.

Worst: The New York Giants

After going into halftime with a 19-11 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles, in a game they needed to win to keep their playoff hopes alive, the Giants completely flopped in the second half, only scoring three points, losing 25-22.

In the second half, the Giants totaled just 56 yards and had just three first downs. The Giants now stand at 3-8 and three games out of first place in the NFC East. In a must-win game, the Giants completely disappeared.

Best: The Seattle Seahawks

For the second week in a row, the Seahawks won a game that was vital to their playoff chances. Last week, they defeated the Packers and this week, Russell Wilson was able to lead Seattle on a game-winning drive to defeat the Carolina Panthers, 30-27.

Down 27-20, on fourth-and-3 with 3:26 remaining in the game, Russell Wilson hit David Moore on a 35-yard touchdown to tie it up. Carolina went down and missed a field goal then Wilson led the Seahawks down the field to set up Sabastian Janikowski for a game-winning 31-yard field goal.

Seattle now has a 6-5 record and holds a tie-breaker over both the Packers and the Panthers.

Worst: The Jacksonville Jaguars

Just a season removed from an AFC Championship appearance, the Jaguars hit their lowest point of the season, a 24-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

The Jaguars, who finished 10-6 last season, are now 3-8 and are three games out of a playoff spot. On Monday, they announced the benching of Blake Bortles for Cody Kessler and fired offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.
