Conor McGregor To Return To UFC In October

After nearly two years away from the Octagon, Conor McGregor is ready to make a comeback.

McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC since defeating Eddie Alvarez at the UFC 205 in November of 2016 and will not be facing off with Russian wrestling expert, Khabib Nurmagomedov, in October.

Back in April, McGregor appeared in court to enter a plea deal with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office for famous bus attack during the UFC’s 223 Media Day. The same bus carried Nurmagomedov.

Mcgregor’s plea deal consisted of: full restitution to the bus company for any damages suffered, community service and enrolling in an anger management program.

The deal cleared McGregor of jail-time and did not have an effect on his travel visa, making him available to return to UFC.

Since the fight has been announced, The Notorious MMA sent a public message regarding Nurmagomedov via Instagram:

“If he dies, he dies then I’m paid twice.”

Mcgregor and Nurmagomedov are set to be the main card in the UFC 229 match on October 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Nurmagomedov is currently the favorite to win along with his 26-0 record, but McGregor is confident he will gain the lightweight belt.
