Exclusive: 49ers’ Arik Armstead “Feeling Better” After Surgery

San Francisco 49ers’ Arik Armstead is recovering well following foot surgery.
On Friday May 18th, the defensive end informed The Drive with Carmichael Dave and Kyle Madson that he is “feeling better now. We start OTAs and practice on Monday so I’m feeling good.”
A report brook earlier in the morning stating Armstead is currently ‘recovering from minor foot surgery.’

The Elk Grove native clarified that the surgery actually took place right after the season, months prior to the news breaking.
“I’m good. I had minor surgery, a minor cleanup on my foot a couple months ago.”
