Omri Casspi and Garrett Temple are two of the nicest people you will find in the NBA. Both have a reputation for being great teammates and positive locker room role models. But both are still professional athletes, capable of temper flare-ups like the rest of their peers. The former Sacramento Kings, and current Memphis Grizzlies teammates, were reportedly involved in an altercation during a team meeting after a loss to the Detroit Pistons.

After giving up a 13-0 fourth quarter run and falling 101-94, Memphis’ eighth loss in the last 10 games, the team held an emotional postgame meeting. Grizzlies head coach J.B. Bickerstaff said that the meeting was a “conversation that needed to be had”.

A source inside the locker room told ESPN that the incident itself was mainly “heat-of-the-moment” stuff.
