The Missing Pieces; The Grant Napear Show with Doug Christie – 12/19

Hour 1

Grant and Doug begin the show with talk about the lack of depth the Thunder will play with tonight due to a few players being suspended due to an altercation with the Bulls on Monday, how the Kings will be without Iman Shumpert and Bogi, which will hurt their chances tonight as well. Plus friend of the show Charles Davis of the NFL on Fox joins the show to talk the latest news and notes around the NFL.

Hour 2

The fellas talk Kings vs Thunder almost the whole second hour, with previews of how the Thunder will play with only one Point Guard available today on the roster, how the Kings can counteract that, plus a little defensive match ups each team may be effected by or be able to take advantage of.

Hour 3

In the last half hour the great Jerry Reynolds joins the show live in the Golden 1 Center. Hear Jerry discuss everything from what he thinks will happen during tonight’s game vs the Thunder, why he feels De’Aaron Fox is truly a star in the making if not having already arrived and a little thought on how far he thinks this team can go this year.

NFC Championship Game: No lack of offense between Rams-Saints

When these two teams met in Week 9, the game had a little bit of everything; a combined 80 points, an 18-point second half come back from the Rams, and a 72-yard touchdown pass to Michael Thomas that sealed the deal for the Saints that included a Joe Horn-esque cell phone touchdown celebration. Minus the cell phone, Sunday's NFC Championship Game between the Rams and Saints could feature the same high scoring and explosive plays we saw just two months ago.
