Hey Kings: Stop Teasing Us

by Carmichael Dave

Anyone who knows me knows I have an old ratty Kings hockey jersey (sweater). I wear it a few times a year, but once upon a time it was my battle gear, almost like a uniform.

My jersey was a couple of logos and color schemes ago, and the Kings have yet to produce a next generation. So as I was scrolling around this weekend, my heart stopped when I saw this:

When I clicked the link, I found 4 different mockups, each amazing. Sure, the Kings were just having fun around Stanley Cup season, but I say NAY Kings, NAY.

Enough screwing around. Shut up and take my money. Get on the phone with Nike, and get those jerseys pumping.

Now please. KTHXBYE

NFC Championship Game: No lack of offense between Rams-Saints

When these two teams met in Week 9, the game had a little bit of everything; a combined 80 points, an 18-point second half come back from the Rams, and a 72-yard touchdown pass to Michael Thomas that sealed the deal for the Saints that included a Joe Horn-esque cell phone touchdown celebration. Minus the cell phone, Sunday's NFC Championship Game between the Rams and Saints could feature the same high scoring and explosive plays we saw just two months ago.
