According to The Mercury News, former NBA MVP Kevin Durant will miss tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings due to sore ribs.

Durant joins his fellow Golden State stars Steph Curry (right ankle) and Klay Thompson (fractured right thumb) on the bench. After missing Wednesday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers with a sore right shoulder, Draymond Green is expected to play tonight.

This is not the first time the Sacramento Kings will take on a shorthanded Warriors squad this season. The Kings beat the Warriors in Oracle Arena back on November 27th, 110-106. Neither Curry nor Durant played that evening.

Despite being so shorthanded, the Warriors are still 9-point favorites over Sacramento tonight.
