Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins has a tendency to lick other players.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that, while Marchand denies it, the NHL has asked him to stop.
After Game 1 where Marchand licked Leo Komarov of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team reportedly got a ‘We’d prefer if you could tell Brad Marchand to stop licking people’ phone call from the league.

The NHL, however, came out and said it was true. Confirming reports state “A league spokesperson confirmed a report by Sportsnet that the NHL demanded Marchand not repeat that particular antic again. A message was communicated to Marchand through the series’ supervisor of officials Mick McGeough.”
