Kawhi Leonard was drafted by San Antonio in 2011 and went on to win the 2014 NBA Finals MVP after the Spurs defeated the Miami Heat. He only played nine games last season while recovering from an ankle injury suffered in the 2017 playoffs. He averaged 16.2 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game.
Leonard only has one year left on his current contract.
DeMar DeRozan was the ninth pick by the Toronto Raptors in the 2009 NBA Draft and has played his entire career in Toronto. He was a four-time All-Star with the Raptors, including last season where he averaged 23 points per game on 45.6% shooting.
DeRozan has three years remaining on his contract worth $83 million.
