Sacramento Republic FC To Host Seattle Sounders FC February 15th

Sacramento Republic FC has just announced a preseason match against Seattle Sounders FC.
The match will take place at Papa Murphy’s Park on Feb. 15.
Republic FC Chief Operating Officer Ben Gumpert says
“Arguably no other club in MLS has done more to elevate soccer in this country than Sounders FC. Our Northwest neighbors have shown how to embrace an entire community around the club and they have supported us behind-the-scenes since our inaugural season. We are looking forward to returning the favor by hosting the Sounders here in Sacramento and bring some of the world’s best players to challenge our squad in front of our amazing fans.”

Republic FC will welcome the 2016 MLS Cup Champions @SoundersFC for a preseason friendly on Feb. 15. This match is included in the 2018 season ticket package.

Sounders FC General Manager & President of Soccer Garth Lagerwey adds
“e’re excited to add a quality opponent in Sacramento Republic FC to our preseason schedule. Our players will experience a strong atmosphere in Sacramento in front of their passionate fans, and playing a quality USL side is valuable to our overall preparations for the 2018 campaign.”
Kickoff time is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.
