The son of former Sacramento Kings coach Rick Adelman was killed last week in a car accident, according to Good Day Sacramento.
R.J. Adelman was crossing the street when he was struck by a female driver on Feb. 2.
Reports indicate that Adelman was not using a crosswalk, and the woman was questioned on-site but not charged.
Adelman served as a scout for the Kings under his father and was later hired as an assistant coach for the Houston Rockets. He was 44-years-old.
Sending Love, Blessings and Prayers to Coach Rick Adelman and his family with news of his son RJ’s passing… RIP R.J. 🙏🏽
