Mike Bibby is still one of the best Sacramento Kings of all time. Mike arrived in a trade for Jason Williams but help to advance the Kings to places they had never been in Sacramento. Bibby had the flair for the dramatic with hitting clutch shots, including one of the biggest in Sacramento Kings history, his game winner in game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Mike had a productive NBA career with some incredible memories made in Sacramento. |

Urijah Faber: The “Calilfornia Kid” Urijah Faber is as home grown as it gets. Raised in Sacramento and he ultimately took his talents to UC Davis. Faber is the former WEC World Featherweight Champion and now a newly minted member of the UFC Hall of Fame. | |
Vlade is one of the most loved Sacramento Kings of all-time. Vlade was the “glue” to the best teams the Sacramento Kings ever put on the court. Now Divac serves as the Sacramento Kings general manager. | |
Darrick played for over a decade in the NBA and spent a couple of seasons with the Sacramento Kings. Martin was with the Kings from 1999-2001. Martin was a part of the 2000-2001 Kings team that won 55 games and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. The last two season Martin was the Head Coach of the developmental team for the Sacramento Kings, the Reno Bighorns. | |
Kenny had a long NBA career that started in Houston, took him to Philadelphia and the last 5 plus seasons were in Sacramento. His best NBA season came in Philadelphia when he averaged a double-double. Kenny has kept his connection in Sacramento as he is the owner of the downtown restaurant El Rey. | |
Greg was born in Sacramento and remains a very prominent figure in the Sacramento area. Greg had an incredibly productive baseball career that spanned 15 years. Greg was a 4 time all-star, a former Silver Slugger winner, hit over 350 home runs and once hit 50 in the 1998 baseball season. | |
Doug Christie came into the NBA as a scorer and an athlete. Doug found his niche as a defender and a great teammate. Christie was a Sacramento King from 2000-2005. In his tenure with the Kings he was on the All-Defensive team in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. Doug has been a major contributor in the Sacramento community and we now proudly call one of our own here at KHTK as he works Monday-Friday with Grant Napear on the afternoon show from 3-7. This upcoming season Doug will be the full time television analyst on the Kings broadcasts. | |
Bonzi spent just one season in Sacramento but what a season it was. He played in 2005-2006 and helped lead the Kings on a late season surge to make the post-season. Bonzi scored 13 points per game in his only season for the Kings, but led the team in scoring in the playoffs watching his total jump to 23 points per game. Wells was a major factor on the last playoff team for the Sacramento Kings. | |
Derrek was born and raised in Sacramento. He went on to have a very successful Major League Career. Lee was a 2 time All-Star, a 3 time Gold Glove Winner, won a National League batting title and won a World Series in 2003. | |
Kosta will be entering his 11th NBA season and 4th with the Sacramento Kings. The veteran big man has been reliable as a starter or reserve in his decade plus in the NBA. Koufos has also been a leader in help to groom some of the young Kings big men. | |
Iman Shumpert: Iman was a first round draft pick of the New York Knicks back in the 2011 NBA draft. Shumpert was a member of the all-rookie team in 2011-2012. He won a championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016 and was traded to the Kings last February. Shumpert is looking to be a key contributor on the wing for the Kings this season. |
