Trevor Davis of the Green Bay Packers was arrested this weekend after making a bomb joke at the Hawaiian Airlines check-in counter.
According to NFL.com, the 24-year-old was at Los Angeles International Airport on Sunday and while checking in, allegedly asked the woman next to him if she packed “the explosives.”
Davis was taken into custody and later released on a $15,000 bond, with a preliminary court hearing scheduled for May 3.
There could be further repercussions from the league due to the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
The Packers said in a statement:
“The Packers are aware of the matter involving Trevor Davis. We are in the process of gathering more information and will refrain from making any further comment as it is an ongoing legal matter.”
