I am a 40-year old father of two, and I all too often act like a child. I love me some twitter, but I fall for the bait way way WAY too often.

In today’s episode of “Dude, Just Leave It Alone”: a tweet came across my timeline regarding the Kings and Joel Embiid. There was a throwaway joke of a trade proposal, followed by some Kings fans turning down the joke proposal. Problem is, the joke part of it was for the Sixers, as in NO WAY they’d do that trade.

A Sixers fan picked up on it, and that’s what got me to jump in-

To which I replied

In my mind, the idea that the Kings WOULDN’T trade the #2, Buddy, and Willie for Joel Embiid is embarrassing. But this conversation has now been going on for a day, and apparently there are those who disagree.

Am I high? Or are we (like all fanbases) severely overvaluing our players?

PS: This is a fake trade. I am aware that we are having this conversation about a FAKE TRADE.

Gotta love the offseason.
