Wade Davis Agrees To 3 Year, $52 Million Deal With The Colorado Rockies

Wade Davis reached free agency after playing as a closer with the Kansas City Royals for two years and most recently the Chicago Cubs.
The former Cubs player has reportedly agreed to a 3 year, $52 million deal with the Colorado Rockies, per Yahoo! Sports.
Along with Davis’ deal, the contact contains a vesting player option for Davis.
The option could increase his value to $66 million, as well a four year contract if he decides to pick the option.
Davis finished the 2017 season strong with an earns runs average of 2.30.
Most recent reports from Yahoo! Sports say Davis has passed a physical and the Rookies are expected to announce the deal Friday.
