The Sacramento Kings didn’t wait long to get their free agency started. It has been rumored for a while that the Kings would re-sign Harrison Barnes, who they acquired at the trade deadline this past season, to a new deal. Now, it has been reported that both parties are finalizing a four year, $85 million contract.
The contract wont be officially signed until July 6th, when the free agency moratorium period ends.
In 28 games with the Sacramento Kings last season, Barnes averaged 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 40% from three-point range.
