Devastating news has fallen upon the sports world on this Sunday afternoon.

According to multiple reports, former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and his 13 year-old daughter Gianna are among those said to have died in a helicopter crash in California this morning.

Bryant and his daughter were aboard the helicopter on their way to a travel basketball game when it crashed near Calabasas, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
