Even without their MVP, the Milwaukee Bucks put a stop to Sacramento’s winning ways
Milwaukee Bucks MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo was not in the building on Monday night when his team took on the Sacramento Kings.
It turns out, all they needed was Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe.
The Bucks duo scored 28 points each as they outscored Sacramento by 14 in the final period to propel themselves to a 123-111 win on Monday night in Wisconsin.
The Kings looked good through three quarters, taking a two-point lead into the fourth quarter. The NBA’s best home team would go on a big run to snap Sacramento’s winning-streak at three games.
Harrison Barnes led the way with 23 points, while De’Aaron Fox had 17 points, eight rebounds and 11 assists. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nemanja Bjelica had 16 points apiece, while Buddy Hield chipped in with 15 points off of the bench on six-of-12 from the field.
Coming Up
Sacramento will be back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Dallas to face the Mavericks.
The Kings bested the Mavs on the road earlier this season, thanks to a late-game defensive stop by Cory Joseph.
