Doncic, Mavericks Steamroll Sacramento

After winning four of five games, the Kings have lost two straight contests

Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic made his return on Wednesday night, and showed the world that he’s ready for Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game.

The second-year phenom dropped 33 points to lead his Mavericks team over the Sacramento Kings by a final of 130-111 at Americans Airline Center in Dallas.

Doncic, who missed the last seven contests for Dallas, finished with 12 rebounds and eight assists to go along with his 33 points. Kristaps Porzingis added 27 points and 13 rebounds in the winning effort for the Mavericks.

For Sacramento, Buddy Hield scored 22 points and dished nine assists in the loss. De’Aaron Fox chipped in with 16 points, while Kent Bazemore continued his solid stretch of play with 15 points off of the bench.

The NBA All-Star break has begun for the Sacramento Kings.

As for the Kings, they’ll enjoy a nice break to rest up and prepare for the final stretch of the regular season. Sacramento will be back in action when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies next Thursday, February 20th at Golden 1 Center.
