All athletic events will be on pause for the foreseeable future, which is a tough pill to swallow for sports fans around the world.
While this may be a rough time for Sacramento Kings fans, we can look back on some good times while we wait for basketball to make it’s return.
On This Date: March 25, 2007
The Sacramento Kings faced Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns in a Sunday matinee back on March 25, 2007 that was broadcasted nationally on ABC.
Mike Bibby gave Kings fans a game to remember, scoring 37 points while hitting a career-high nine three-pointers en route to a 107-100 win for Sacramento. The Suns would go on to win 61 games, claiming the number-two seed in the Western Conference standings.
Bibby’s nine three’s in a game remained the franchise record for the Kings until Buddy Hield hit 11 three-pointers against Boston on November 25, 2019.
