19 years ago today, Chris Webber had a monster game to lead the Sacramento Kings over the New York Knicks

All athletic events will be on pause for the foreseeable future, which is a tough pill to swallow for sports fans around the world.

While this may be a rough time for Sacramento Kings fans, we can look back on some good times while we wait for basketball to make it’s return.

On This Date: March 27, 2001

In the midst of a breakout season for the Kings, Chris Webber put on a show against Latrell Sprewell and the New York Knicks.

Webber went on to score 39 points and grab 15 rebounds, leading the Kings to a 124-117 overtime win at ARCO Arena. Peja Stojakovic scored 29 points to go along with 9 rebounds, while Jason Williams chipped in with 16 points and 8 assists.

Sprewell and Allan Houston scored 21 points each in the loss, while Kurt Thomas scored 23 points off of the bench for New York.
