Part three of an exclusive interview with award winning director Jason Hehir aired on ‘The Drive’ this morning in the final installment of a three-part series with Carmichael Dave.
Dave and Hehir dive into behind the scenes details on the critically acclaimed 10-part documentary series on Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls.
Originally scheduled to air this summer, The Last Dance was moved up by ESPN to air during this wait for the return of sports. Over the course of the documentary, sports fans had an inside look at the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls, a team that won their sixth–and final–championship of the decade.
With a bevy of incredible interviews and stories included, Hehir has put together arguably the most greatest basketball documentary of all time.
In episode three, Hehir wraps up his thoughts on The Last Dance and sheds some light on Down In The Valley, an unseen ESPN 30 for 30 film on the Sacramento Kings relocation saga that took place in the 2010’s.
