Dr. Richard Pan Joins “The Drive” To Discuss COVID-19 Updates
California State Senator Dr. Richard Pan joined The Drive this morning to discuss updates on the COVID-19 outbreak
Friday morning on The Drive, Carmichael Dave and Jason Ross had a conversation with California State Senator Dr. Richard Pan about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak that is currently infecting over one million people worldwide.
Dr. Pan, who has been courteous enough to come on the air every Friday morning to enlighten the public of COVID-19 news and safety measures, was on The Drive this morning to share some updates and procedures that we can all take part in to stop the spreading of this vicious disease.
With more cities and counties reopening their businesses by the week, Dr. Pan shared some thoughts on how things have been going in the United States, our state of California and the Sacramento community over the past seven days.
“Well, unfortunately we are marking a rather grim milestone in the country, where we have over 100,000 confirmed deaths from coronavirus in our country. I think while we are making progress, certainly that is something that we need to acknowledge,” he said. “California actually is at the point where we are approaching 4,000 (deaths)–now, we’re 12 percent of population, so fortunately we’re at probably about third of where if things were spread evenly, what you would expect for California. That shows that we have been doing in California has been working and that we have been more successful than the rest of the country, but I would also make note that we have almost 4,000 dead out here in California alone.”
Dr. Pan goes on to share several enlightening facts and updates on the COVID-19 outbreak over the course of the 20 minute interview. California continues to show promise in the fight against this pandemic, but there is more that we all can do to stay on course.
