After nearly two-months of rumors and speculation, the Sacramento Kings have re-tooled their front office with McNair

The search is over.

According to Sam Amick and Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Sacramento Kings have solidified their front office with the hiring of Houston Rockets assistant general manager Monte McNair.

McNair, who has been the assistant general manager of the Houston Rockets since 2018, has been working in the Houston front office since 2007-08 season.

After 13 years, he will get his shot at having control of his own NBA front office.

McNair has been involved in most transactions that have taken place since the 2015-16 season, helping craft a Rockets team that has made the playoffs for eight consecutive seasons.

This story will updated with more information as it is provided.
