The young forward has found a new home after reaching an agreement with Portland on Sunday

The days of seeing Harry Giles III don a Sacramento Kings jersey are over.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Giles has reached an agreement with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Per Woj, the agreed upon deal is for the 2020-21 season.

The 22-year-old averaged 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game while shooting 55-percent from the field last season.

Former general manager Vlade Divac declined the fourth-year option ($4 million) on Giles’ contract last October, signaling the beginning of the end for the former Duke Blue Devil’s time with the organization.

On Friday evening, our very own Carmichael Dave received information close to the situation that stated Giles’ time in Sacramento was over.

Portland will add Giles to its front-court, giving Jusuf Nurkic and Enes Kanter a solid backup for a contending Blazers team that has made a variety of moves this offseason.

Giles was beloved by Kings fans, who will undoubtedly support him wherever he goes for the rest of his career.

Once the COVID-19 pandemic gets to a point where fans are allowed inside of Golden 1 Center, Giles will get an ovation unlike any that we have seen in recent memory.

Best of luck, HG.
