The seven-footer has inked a one-year deal with Sacramento
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Sacramento Kings have signed center Hassan Whiteside to a one-year deal.
Carmichael Dave reported on Tuesday night that discussions were ongoing regarding the reunion of Whiteside and the Kings–the team that drafted the center in 2010.
Whiteside, 31, averaged 15.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 2.9 blocks (league leading) per game with Portland last season.
According to reports, the deal will be for the league minimum.

According to our very own Carmichael Dave, free agent center Hassan Whiteside is engaged in talks with the Sacramento Kings that could result in the former rebound champion returning to the franchise for a second tour of duty.
Whiteside, 31, was drafted out of Marshall by Sacramento with the 33rd pick in the 2010 NBA Draft
The seven-footer played in 19 games over two seasons before heading overseas for better opportunities. After a successful two-year stint in the Lebanon and Chinese leagues, Whiteside returned to the NBA in 2014-15.
In 2015-16, Whiteside led the league in blocks per game (3.7) while averaging 14.2 points and 11.8 rebounds per game.
Since the 2016-7 season, Whiteside holds averages of 14.8 points, 12.7 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game with a 57-percent average from the field.
