Tiger Woods could’ve won the British Open today.
Coulda woulda shoulda, I get it. But the man finished 6th, and was in the lead all by himself at one point. When you consider that a little over a year ago he wasn’t entirely sure he could walk normally, this is a comeback for the ages.
This is the first time Tiger Woods has held on outright lead on Sunday in a major since the 2009 PGA Championship (finished 2nd behind Y.E. Yang).

Its not a matter of if, its a matter of when he will win his next tournament. As long as he stays healthy, its going to happen.
Sure golf can exist and be very successful without Tiger. Of course it can. But its not as good. Its not even close to the same thing. Tiger takes it to a whole new level, and I for one am a huge fan of that.
