The impressive Kings rookie has been named Rookie of the Month for the second month in-a-row

Another month, another accolade for Sacramento Kings rookie Tyrese Haliburton.

The 21-year-old has been named Western Conference Rookie of the Month for the month of February, the second time that Haliburton has been honored with the award in as many months.

Over 13 games in the month of February, Haliburton averaged 16.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 51-percent from the field and 45-percent from the three-point line.

Haliburton has solidified himself as a very important player for a young Sacramento Kings team, proving that he can show efficiency on both sides of the ball.

The former Iowa State Cyclone is has missed the previous two games due to a sore calf, an injury that could keep him sidelined through the NBA All-Star break.

Sacramento has desperately missed Haliburton’s production, as the Kings bench has been outscored 77-21 over the rookie’s two-game absence.

With 30 games in the books, Haliburton currently holds season averages of 13.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game on 49-percent shooting from the field and 43-percent shooting from beyond the three-point line.
