According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Sacramento Kings have traded forward Nemanja Bjelica to the Miami Heat in exchange for forward Maurice Harkless and forward Chris Silva.
Bjelica, 32, was Sacramento’s starting power forward for most of the past three seasons before being relegated to a reserve role by head Kings coach Luke Walton.
Over 26 games this season, Bjelica averaged 7.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 46-percent from the field and 29-percent from three-point range.
During his three seasons in Sacramento, Bjelica started at the power forward position in 138 out of 175 contests while scoring 10.1 points per game on 40-percent shooting from downtown.
Coming to Sacramento in the deal from Miami are forwards Maurice Harkless and Chris Silva.
Harkless, 27, has not seen much action this season, appearing in 11 games to post numbers of 1.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
Silva, 24, holds averages of 2.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game over 11 appearances.
Harkless will become a free agent after the season, while the Kings will hold a team option on Silva worth $1.78 million.
