The young forward is likely to make his return on Friday night after a 23-game absence

Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III is listed as ‘probable’ for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to the team’s most recent injury report that was released on Thursday night.

Bagley, who has missed 23 games due to an injury suffered on March 15th in Charlotte that resulted in a fractured fourth metacarpal in his left hand, had been rehabbing at his home in Arizona before rejoining the team two weeks ago in Phoenix.

Earlier this week, head coach Luke Walton shared that Bagley went through full-contact three-on-three during practice and was getting close to a return, pending how the young big felt after going through the workouts.

It appears that the 22-year-old has cleared the final hurdle by participating in a full-contact five-on-five workout and has been cleared by the medical staff to make his return to action.

Over 37 games this season, Bagley holds averages of 13.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game on 50-percent shooting from the field and 35% shooting from the three-point line.

With just 10 games remaining in the season, the former number-two pick in the draft will hope to boost his trade stock as reports continue to swirl regarding a possible separation from Sacramento come the offseason.

While it is unknown if Walton will insert Bagley back into the starting lineup, you can expect Bagley to try and boost his stock over the final 10 games–likely his final contests in a Kings uniform.
