Sacramento Kings forward Marvin Bagley III is in the news once again for off-the-court antics.

Shortly following a season that was plagued with injuries and several trade demands via Twitter from his father, Marvin Bagley Sr., the former number-two pick is in hot water this week for ‘liking’ a tweet that reads: “We gotta get (Bagley) outta Sac man.”

Shortly following the news of the tweet, Kings fans and media personalities took note of the fact that Bagley removed all mentions of the Sacramento Kings out of his Twitter and Instagram bios.

Bagley, 22, is entering the final season of his rookie-scale contract in 2021-22. Over three seasons in the NBA, the forward holds career averages of 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting 50-percent from the field over 118 career games.

Due to an assortment of injuries, the former Duke Blue Devil has missed 48% of the last three seasons.

Since Bagley was drafted by Sacramento in 2018, the shadow of Luka Doncic has loomed over the young forward after the Kings passed up on Doncic, who fell to number three and has become an MVP candidate with the Dallas Mavericks.

Fellow 2018 draftees Deandre Ayton and Trae Young have found great success during this summer’s playoff run, with both players having put on exciting performances for the Phoenix Suns and Atlanta Hawks–both teams that are currently in the Western and Eastern Conference Finals, respectively.

Frustrations have been brewing among Bagley and his camp for some time now. Sacramento was rumored to have been shopping Bagley during the trade deadline, but the interest in the 6’11 big was low, per reports.

Bagley’s antics are the latest pillar to fall in what is a deteriorating relationship between himself and the Kings franchise.

Carmichael Dave shared his thoughts on the latest developments in the Bagley saga during Thursday’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with JayMarzz:
