Sacramento Kings Release 2021-22 Regular Season Schedule

The Kings will open up the regular season on Wednesday, October 20th in Portland

Can you feel it? Sacramento Kings basketball is near.

The Kings will begin the 2021-22 regular season two months from today in Portland when they face Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers on Wednesday, October 20th at Moda Center.

Sacramento’s home opener will take place on Friday, October 22nd against the Utah Jazz, followed by a home matchup on Sunday, October 24th against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

As far as national televised games go, the Kings will not appear on ESPN or TNT this season.

There will be five games televised on NBA TV. Sacramento’s last appearance on ESPN was in 2019, while their last appearance on TNT was in 2018 per Alex Kramers of Kings.com.

Prior to the regular season, the Kings will play in four preseason games, the first being a showdown with the reigning Western Conference champion Phoenix Suns on Monday, October 4th at Golden 1 Center.

  • Monday, October 4th vs Phoenix Suns
  • Wednesday, October 6th @ Los Angeles Clippers
  • Monday, October 11th @ Portland Trail Blazers
  • Thursday, October 14th vs Los Angeles Lakers
