The next four weeks are going to be a whirlwind of rumors surrounding what the Sacramento Kings will do with their fourth-overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.
Let the speculation begin.
Sacramento has started conducting pre-draft interviews at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago this week, as Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reported on Friday that the Kings have met with projected top-five pick Shaedon Sharpe.
Sharpe is a player that could bring plenty of athleticism to Sacramento’s backcourt alongside De’Aaron Fox, but a lot of homework will need to be done on the 18-year-old after he sat out the entirety of the 2021-22 season.
Per the report, Monte McNair and the Kings’ front office have also met with projected top-ten pick AJ Griffin and projected first-round picks Wendell Moore Jr. and Trevion Williams.
The NBA’s Draft Combine will run through Sunday, May 22nd.
There is a long way to go until commissioner Adam Silver reveals Sacramento’s selection on June 23rd, so expect many more pre-draft meetings and workouts to take place.
