More good news for San Francisco Giants fans, as ace pitcher Madison Bumgarner is close to his return to The Show. But it’s great news for Giants fans in Sacramento as Bumgarner is expected to make a rehab start this Saturday against the Albuquerque Isotopes.
The four-time all-star and three-time World Series champion broke his pinky finger on his left hand in his final start of Spring Training back in March.

Bumgarner threw a batting practice session last weekend at AT&T Park along with a simulated game to Giants hitters on Tuesday. He is expected to be held to around 45 pitches on Saturday and should make two starts before returning to the San Francisco roster.
