We all have teams and players we can’t stand, because well, you know- sports and stuff.
I don’t really “hate” the Warriors like I do the Lakers, but they’re annoying and dumb because they win a bunch of titles all the time and they’re like 90 miles away. Its like living next door to a guy with a perfect lawn, while you spend a ton of time and money on your lawn and its always brown and lame.
Despite that, I recognize that Steph Curry is special. He’s not only tremendously talented, he’s not only the greatest shooter in NBA history (that hurts, I grew up a Larry Bird fan), but he’s also a tremendous role model.
Already a guy who loves his family, never gets in trouble, and runs basketball camps for girls only, he got a letter recently from a young lady asking about his latest line of Under Armour shoes:
Girl named Riley Morrison asks @StephenCurry30 why his sneakers don’t come in girls sizes. Steph responds. pic.twitter.com/C7SPIiMUlu

Not only did he respond on his own, in handwriting (not typed), but he WRITES IN DISNEY FONT!!!
This little girl will not only frame and save this letter forever, but it sounds like she’s going to get some pretty cool hookups as well. Every athlete should take the time to be this accessible, its not like Steph isn’t busy or anything.
But now he has a fan for life, which he probably already did anyway. Well done, Steph.
