Tension between Marquette King and former teammates from the Oakland Raiders has surfaced after King departed from the Raiders and signed with division-rival the Denver Broncos.

Per Bleacher Report, the punter said the deal with Denver was “a revenge factor” and criticized new Raiders coach Jon Gruden’s decision to release him.

“The people that work at the Broncos encourage you to be yourself,” King added.

Raiders linebacker and former teammate, Bruce Irvin, didn’t take too kindly the jabs King was giving off to the team, so he tweeted out he wanted to be the punt return against Denver next season.
