Sacramento Republic FC Home Opener Match Recap

Sacramento Republic FC kicked off the 2018 season on Saturday, Mar. 17 in a home match against San Antonio FC.
Republic FC won 2-1 via goals from Keven Alemán and Christian Eissele.
The club’s website has a quote from Republic FC Head Coach Simon Elliott after the win. He says
“I think the end result was successful, but I wouldn’t say it was a successful 90 minutes. We need to be a 90-minute team and we’re not there yet. Obviously, some nice goals and I thought we were tough at the end. We just need to brush up and move on.”
Next, Sacramento Republic FC takes on Orange County SC at Champions Soccer Stadium on Mar. 24. Kickoff is at 7pm.
