As the pic below shows, we have moved into the stretch run of the season for Tankathon 2018. While many teams have the boring task of maneuvering for the playoffs, we Kings fans get to enjoy the fight for the most ping pong balls, with no real guarantee we’ll even get the top pick (if we finish dead last). Whee.

I’ve whittled it down to the bottom 9 teams, that’s where the real jockeying is happening. The team at the bottom (the New York Knicks) happens to be at Golden 1 Center tonight. We already know Willie Cauley-Stein is out, but the Knicks are missing Kristaps Porzingis, so they win that battle.

Should the Kings lose, they will be in a virtual three way tie with Atlanta and Memphis for worst record in the NBA. Should they win, they fall all the way down to 6th, with 8th breathing down their neck. Folks, THAT’S how crazy this race is getting!

Huge week at home, as both the Knicks (9th) and the Magic (1 game back of the Kings) visit G1C. THIS is where legends are made, folks.
