Hour 1
Grant and Doug come out in the first hour discussing the big news of the day, Josh Gordon’s exit from New England. hear the fellas discuss Josh’s talent compared to his off the field issues, how they are rooting for him to get well with his mental difficulties and the different examples of some of the other athletes who have faced certain off the field difficulties. Also Kings talk shows up in the back half of the hour.
Hour 2
The second hour is a Kings heavy hour as Coach Dave Joerger, head coach of the Kings joins the show and talks about the team in the midst of the season, playing through skids, how he thinks the team will play against the Grizzlies tomorrow and how difficult it is to win with out some of the key pieces due to injury. Plus the Kings announced today that the team will play in India next year so of course Grant gives you the particulars of the trip, travel time and distance and what it means for the team.
Hour 3
In hour three a few former Kings join the show for the Kings Throwback guests of the Week and to discuss a new book being released by them. “The Wizard” Walt Williams and Tony Massenburg jumped on the show to discuss their new book “Lessons from Lenny”, a book about how both of their lives were touched by Len Bias before his passing. Plus DC and Grant talk NFL this upcoming week, the Chiefs coming off a loss and Seattle looking for another win this week.
Hour 4
The fellas continue their efforts of bringing awareness to the fire victims of Butte County with another story from a local hero, Heather Clennell.
