The Sacramento Kings announced on Sunday that the team has waived forward Joe Johnson.
The team reached an agreement with Johnson on a buyout as part of Thursday’s trade that sent George Hill to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to the Sacramento Bee, there are multiple reports that Johnson will sign with the Houston Rockets after clearing waivers.
The Kings currently have 14 players under contract giving them the ability to add another free agent this season.
