I will start with thank you.  Thank you doesn’t seem like enough but its all I’ve got at this moment.  My heart is filled with pride after spending the last 24 plus hours watching people take time to come to our radio station to drop off so many things to help out those that had their lives turned upside down from the Camp Fire.

People heard the message, felt compelled to help and have done just that.  Moments ago a crew of people left our station here at 280 Commerce Circle to head to Orville to drop off the countless supplies.  These people are taking time out of their day, their busy lives to help make a difference.  We had a man named Cameron that brought a HUGE truck to help facilitate this process.  Many others had small cars, trucks and vehicles of all sizes filled with supplies. Danny Beckham was here too.  Danny is a die hard Kings fan, Danny has been a friend to us here at the station and Danny lost everything.  His home is gone, his spirit is not.  Danny was part of the crew heading out to help.  Think about that? Danny could use the help and has received some but still wants to give back.  You may not have a face to this tragedy but there are thousands of Danny’s out there and many others that need some help.

I want to personally thank Carmichael Dave, Kyle Madson, Grant Napear, Doug Christie, Matt George, Damien Barling and Chris Verlod.  These are names you probably know.  I also need to thank Bobby Solorio, Chris Watkins, Bobby Jones and so many others from our promotions team and the rest of the amazing team that we have here at our radio station for their part in this too.

The fires are so powerful in their destruction but equally powerful to me has been the movement of the people in our community that are picking up the pieces.  So again, thank you for doing your part.  In a world filled with so many things to be down and out about this to me has been amazingly uplifting in light of such devastation.  You are all AMAZING.
