Dave Joerger Will Return To Coach “In The Next Week”

After a scary moment of falling to his knees on the court, Sacramento Kings head coach Dave Joerger is said to be in good health.
While arguing with a referee during Sunday’s away game against the San Antonio Spurs, Joerger fell to a knee on the court. He was taken out to the locker rooms, and the organization later posted this tweet:
Kings head coach Dave Joerger experienced a momentary episode of light headedness tonight during the first quarter at San Antonio. For precautionary reasons he will not return to the bench this evening.

Sam Amick confirms that the coach will return to his duties “in the next week.” Elston Turner will coach Tuesday night in New Orleans, and until Joerger returns.

Kings coach Dave Joerger returned to Sacramento on Monday to get checked out from doctors after his light-headed spell 2 days ago. He will not coach tonight in New Orleans – Elston Turner will. Joerger checks out as healthy, should return in coming days.
