Tonight in the Golden 1 Center, the Sacramento Kings and the San Antonio Spurs meet for the 2nd time this season. However, once again, the Spurs will be without much of their star-studded lineup due to injuries and rest.

Kawhi Leonard (left shoulder strain), Rudy Gay (right heel bursitis), Danny Green (tightness, left groin) and Manu Ginobili (rest) are all listed as out for tonight’s game.

Having just recently made his season debut after injury issues, Leonard finds himself back on the shelf after head coach Gregg Popovich says he suffered a “partial tear” in his left shoulder  last week against the Phoenix Suns. Popovich and the Spurs are hopeful that the issue isn’t severe and his absence will not be long term.

Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph is probable to return tonight after missing Saturday’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to an oral procedure.

The Spurs beat the Kings back on December 23rd in Sacramento. LaMarcus Aldridge led all scorers with 29 points.
