The Sacramento Kings have revealed that the team’s plans on bringing in an electronic advancement to Golden 1 Center. They plan on bringing in an esports facility inside for advanced training, broadcasting, and to serve as a gaming lounge inside the arena.

The facility will advance the quality of their broadcasting capabilities and produce better live streams and content within Golden 1 Center.

According to Sports Video

“Golden 1 Center is the most advanced arena for basketball, entertainment and esports. This state-of-the-art facility will set a new standard and provide the best-in-class tools that the next generation of superstar gamers need to train, compete and win,” said Kings Owner and Chairman, Vivek Ranadivé.

The Kings are also planning on lending out their esports facility to others as a way to promote educational incentive and have it be a tool to bring in new fans.
