Miami Marlins have worked out trade offers with the San Francisco Giants but Giancarlo Stanton has refused to be traded to both the Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Craig Mish tweeted the news Thursday evening.

Stanton is with the Marlins on a no-trade clause, which means he has to agree to a trade for the deal to be accepted.

The Marlins are looking to move Stanton for salary purposes. The 2017 NL MVP has $295 million remaining on his 13-year, $325 million deal he signed in 2015.

Stanton has only approved four teams for trade: Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs.

The 28-year old outfielder hit .281/.376/.631 with 59 home runs and 132 runs batted in this past season.
